Bored at home? Looking to get together with friends and compete for prizes? Join us online for I/OHack:
Pandemic from May 29th to May 31st for an inspiring weekend where you can connect virtually with friends to
produce tech projects that strive for social impact by tackling a challenge presented by COVID-19. There have
never been more problems to solve, so let’s get started!
After an introductory workshop on Friday afternoon, students will hack from home, on their own time, over the
weekend. Mentor sessions will be available during the challenge, as teams of two to five team members
collaborate to design a technology based solution to be assessed by a judging panel. Students from any school
may participate, and students may register individually or with a team. All students in grades 9-12 are
welcome, even if you have never written a single line of code!
The top three teams will be awarded $650 in cash prizes. Stay tuned for additional prize information ...
